You were expecting maybe a Taxi or Bus....

So.....
Here is my Camp thing for the night.....
I did not get a chance to sleep that night....
As I was climbing Mt. Sinai in the dark ......
But I did like this campsite.....
Recommended by a fellow traveler....
Who also worked there......
And introduced me to the Sheikh.....
A nice guy who said just pay before you leave...
Gave me room # 1 with a great view....
I believe I was the ONLY foreigner in town....
Although the Monastery was packed.....
There is adventure in travelling.....
Just getting here and heading for the mountain....
This all of my own thoughts and actions......
NOW GET THIS RIGHT......
Not as a Tourist Package with wine at the Monastery.....
After a 1st class dinner and entertainment......
NO....
I'm a Traveller....
Not a Tourist....

Here I am at my camp a couple hours before starting towards the monastery and the climb up Mount Sinai ...

Here is the office for my Camp.....
The most interesting Hotel/Motel/Hostel/Camp thing....
That I've ever seen....
The El Malga Beduin Camp 2.....
A little tough to get to.....
But a great place......

This is the view from my room at Bedouin Camp 2....
Not a lot of flowers or little shops like in Paris.....
But..... I,m mostly here for The Mountain......
I know exactly where I am.....
Well.... give or take a large desert or two......
Soon..... Real Soon......

So that's it for St. Catherine Village......
Way out in the Sinai Desert......
On the Sinai Peninsula by Egypt.....
Near the Monastery and the Mountain....
Just to the East of North Africa....
Well.....
