John has traveled to another cavern....

Joseph Robert Williams Said:  I know it's not a widely known place to the world but it is a water fall by my home that leads into underground Caverns that's are incredibly beautiful and I was honored to take your brother to this place... U can go down into the water and swim into a few of the caverns and I placed him on the rocks down there... I wasn't able to get a picture from the inside since I don't have a waterproof camera but this is the view from the waterfall above.  The second is Pothole State Park in Archibald Pa.

John has reached his final destination in CANADA...  He was not able to get to Canada... so this destination is extra special...

Meagan Lisbeth Said: It was World Pride Weekend.  John is now travelling down the Ottawa River which leads into the Mississippi River.  He will get to discover it from Canada and travel back to the U.S!

John has visited many underground caves and canyons in his travels... Thanks to a dear friend he has also been able to travel to one of the caves that I really enjoyed while I was living in Missouri.... Marvel Cave.... (cameras are not exactly allowed... but thanks for sneaking these pics)

this is the Cathedral Room.... seemed very fitting...

When his mission was over...William thought it fitting to burn the envelopes and such...

William S Benton‎ Said:
Epilogue: In order to spread John's ashes in 3 places, I made up 3 separate containers to carry them. Being a sometimes clumsy person, I divided the ashes on several pieces of paper so as not to make a mess. When I was done, I was left with several pieces of paper, a couple of envelopes, and some paper towels. But somehow, it didn't seem right to just throw them in the trash, so I brought them home and burned them. Strangely enough, just moments after I took this picture, a strong wind came up and started blowing the bits away. Seemed like a sign to me...

I know you said that some people were leaving messages for John, but I didn't know him, and now I never will. I did what I did, not for him, but for the kind, gentle soul who was his sister. Still, if he was half the person you are, I'm sure I would have liked him (I too have a thing for cathedrals, and my bucket list contains a world cathedral tour). As a current sailor on a fantasy sea, and a former part time sailor on the real one, I will just give the traditional Navy farewell, and wish him fair winds and following seas.

Thank you for the chance to be a part of this.

John has reached his final destination in The Phillipines.... a place he was not able to visit... but now he has :)

Sta. Monica Parish Church facing the river on the East.....

John would have loved this old church.....

Vida Williams Said: We used to swim in this river when we were young, i am glad i got the opportunity to do this for you, Farewell John...

John has a bunch of photos of Dover...and the English Channel... he was very excited to cross it...

I never realized quite how big the channel was... here is part of a conversation we had about it and the castle on top of the hill at Dover.... (he and i often just chatted over what things could have been like 'way back then...' and such.... I will truely miss our talks!!!!

YES....THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE PHOTO IS FOR.....What a view....and likely the lord or noble who lived there and built it had a first response type responsibility to the city, shore and Queens kingdom....Perhaps invasion by those Damned French by sea only 21 miles across the channel....(a real concern in old Europe)....Defense of the Realm and all that.....
All quite likely true...lesson over.

No....but I so enjoyed the crossing....for whatever reason...I enjoyed it Big Fun.....maybe just leaving behind all hint of known language and places....heading into new and foriegn (to me) lands and things I've only heard about....truely a bit of unknown and a bit of adventure.....Gotta like that....

John really enjoyed wandering along the Thames while in London...

He spent the entire night just wandering down the river... (also did same with the nile and Seine and a few others)

John said:
That never gets old.....    historic area like this.....
Like walking along the Seine in Paris or the Thames in London.....
I've done all of them (almost) and it does not get old.....
I love being in the THERE.....  places you hear of ..... places people go.... places you just gotta see and feel...

Thanks to a great friend of mine... John has returned to the River Thames...and is now "in there"... I hope he enjoys the places the river takes him.....

Juli Landis Said: Sent John off on his travels in the Thames Estuary at sunset, from the beach at Allhallows-on-Sea, Kent, England.
