NEW  WILD  GEESE

A new family of Wild Geese with Goslings.....
I count 4 new and small yellow kids.....
That makes 3 large new families this year.....

I found these new guys hanging out with the other families with kids.....
The ones I've already met.......
With these new ones .....
All traveling together makes....about....20 something.....?
Well.....
 A  BUNCH of  EM......

Good Luck to the new guys.....

Here is that family with the 6 kids......

Here is that group with 5 kids.....
No longer with yellow feathers.....

And Then.......
We got these guys.....l
No little ones apparent.....
Hanging out near the family groups.....
Who knows.....
What might hatch....

Memorial Day Weekend....

Here we are at the Minterbrook Oyster Company......
Minter Bay, Washington.....

Here's Amber with some of the old anchors recovered from Minter Bay.....

More photos from Ship Bones Spit at the Inlet to Minter Bay.......

Some of these old wrecks were huge......
Though mostly the bottoms are covered with sand......
Here.... looking down the center of the ship from the back end.....
You can see both sides and the size of this one......
There are around 7 of these large 1800's wrecks here.....
And lots of small and more modern things (boats) that wash up here too.....

Now that's a photo....

SHIP BONES SPIT.....

Is it a bird....?

Is it a plane.....??

It is the awesome new kite Amber and Junior got me for my birthday.....

Amber makes it look easy.....

Thanks Amber and Junior.....

GREAT KITE.....

VISITORS......

As I was sitting by the water and reading today.....
A bunch of wild geese and goslings paddled up to shore.....
There is a fresh well water outlet right there....
I've seen these guys before of course....
They live right down the way on the island.....
I threw them some crackers to go with the fresh water.....
They surprised me and stayed for a couple hours....
They let me get close and take lots of photos....
BIG FUN....

These guys and their goslings are Wild Geese who live here on Henderson Bay and Burley Lagoon......
