Great old tower......

Standing on a stone bridge at the citys southern gate....

You can see where the very wide and deep moat used to be.....

Close the huge wooden doors on this bridge and keep the moat fun of nasty surprises , add some archers, and who's going to try to fight thier way in.....??

The big church is Jakobskirche..... 1311 A.D.

It has the carved wooden " Heilige Blut Alter"....

The "Holy Blood Alter" is said to contain a drop of the blood of Jesus Christ....

This very old public well sure looks Indian or Asian to me......

Way to Eastern to be in the middle of a Bavarian Castle Town......

Truly doesn't look like a German Well....

But none of the old, awsome and ornate well-fountians in Rothenburg make sense.....

A Snow Day......

Out on the highway.....The destruction zone.....

This is as far as I go today.......

No one was making it up the hill on 144th......

To big a mess .....to many cars floating & spinning....

Nice and quiet around my place......

Yes....you can tell by the tracks......I had ideas of heading over to Don's before I went outside.....

Turned around at the station....everyone out there was all over the road.....

I guess if you are a 1,000 year old Castle Town in the Middle Fraconia area of Bavaria, Germany.......This is what your city mascot would look like......

Something I enjoyed finding in Rothenburg was all the different ornamental steel signs outside all the places of business.....

All different and all elaborate works of art......

O.K...... here's a real easy one......

Am I standing inside or outside of the city.......

Yes.......it's 1,000 years old.....
