Yes....
This guy looks like a mix between a Gopher and a Monkey from some cartoon gone wrong.....
But, ..... that's the face of a finger snatching looney.... if ever I saw one....
Take a good look at the design of those teeth clippers....

I have not been to many Zoos in my travels.....
Yet I'm sure......
This is a World Class place.....
This is a NICE zoo.....
The Giza Zoo.....
Cairo, Egypt....

He may well be waiting to see if I am stupid enough to stick my fingers in his cage......
Probably has a plan for that.....

The GIZA ZOO  is not designed in Old/Egyptian style....
It simply is.....Old/Egyptian.....
Like ......Karnak and Luxor.....
Or .....The Isle of Philae and Aswan.....
Or...... Abu Simbel and Nubia.....
These places have their own style and type and are very old and unique in the world....

Then straight to the Cairo International Airport.....

I think I've seen just about everything here in Egypt......
I've travelled 3 or 4 thousand miles in a country about 800 miles end to end.....
From the High Sinai Desert, ....to The Nile River Valley.....and The Red Sea......
I've wandered deep within a dozen  4,000 year old Temples......
Traveled in and across many deserts from Nubia.. to The Sinai ...and the Sahara.....
Cruised on the Nile and crossed The Red Sea......
I learned and explored Cairo,... Luxor.... and  Aswan......
I Rode a camel to see the Great Pyramids.......
And climbed The Mountain in the dark.....
And there is so much more.....
Way to much to list.....

Kinda South of Austria.....
Not really in the Alps.....
Kinda where Switzerland and Germany aren't.....
But sorta of In-Between there somewhere....

But this photo shows a huge area.....
Most of those stalagmites and stuff are bigger than I am....

The Caverns are centered in a large beautiful park.....
I think the fake animals are to impress old nearsighted European Dignitaries and such.....
Who never really look at what their seeing because they have to much going on already......
Look really nice at a glance....
The park..... absolutely gorgeous green paradise....

This is a huge entrance/exit area.....
Some of the caverns were much, much bigger than this.....

This is the exit from the caves......

This is part of the big hotel just outside the caves....
They get European Royalty and world leaders here.....
Been here for like 100 years.....
Best Caverns in the world....
