So without talking about the mis-adventure ride to the go-carts track twice or the strange stuff at the bank and the taxis outside who knew me......and a couple less believabe little things....

(IF) you can believe I was up at dawn to see the sunrise atop Mt. Moses and down to the Monestary and Bedouin Camp 2 where I caught (bribed) a ride with my Bedouin Guide to get me out of the Sinai Desert to real some food at Sharm-E-Shiek so I could swim in Dahab (clearest water in the world) before crossing the Red Sea to Hurguary where I caught a 80 mph nightime taxi ride to some tourist Mecca that I can not pronounce because they had a bus I could catch and sleep on , on my way back North to Cairo.......all in less than a day.....

You would believe me if I told you about the 24 hours before I woke up on the Top of  Mount Moses......

So......   Here I am back in Cairo.....
While I'm here in town there is something I must go do.....
Before I head out into the desert for another adventure.....
I gotta go see  "THE CITADEL" ........
A one-of-a-kind monster super castle and religeous site.....
This place .....You gotta see to believe......
Let's all go to The Citadel........

Lots more private cars around this area....maybe goverment ones.....
The taxis are always easy to spot ..... they have the black markings.....
Like that one there...... Black marks and dents and crunches are normal......
Shows your a tourist class driver.....  Not like those city taxi drivers with the beat up taxis.....

"THE CITADEL"..... Is called the world's greatest momument to Medieval Warfare.....
Ya.... It's all that..,..Even held back attacks during the Crusades.....
Both a Fortress and a Royal City.....  It is a complete Military Garrison.....
Yes...  The Castle from Hell......   They had some fights around here.....
Began as "The Dome of the Wind" in 810 A.D........
Now it is a monument to warfare..... like none other......anywhere...
This place has some bloody history......

When I was out on the Giza Plateau my guide told me......
The Alabaster or White Limestone that originally cover the Great Pyramid of Cheops.....
Was used here in building the Citadel......I guess you can see it from here.....
I believe that is The Muhammed Ali Mosque right up there.....
A absolutely amazing place...... I'll get there soon enough.....
My Giza guide also snagged me a small piece of the white stone.....
