So.......
You find yourself once again back downtown, bleeding, handcuffed and locked in the trunk of that damned blue Mercedes, and really starting to get upset with it all......
When, one of the bodies falling from the high-rise hits and pops the trunk, setting you free.....
Do you search the dead for a gun and quietly sneak back up towards the penthouse to get your revenge and the item....?
Or, do you bust into the Cadillac two spots over where you know Leftie keeps a R.P.G. and a dozen shells, so you can start a little "Hell on Earth" and "Let God Sort It Out", old school Big Fun .... But risk possibly, maybe, losing your control over the entire situation....?
Well....?
It is a simple question.....
But, shit has already buried the fan.....
So there is not a lot of time....
And your life probably depends on it......
So, you must make a decision......
Ask yourself....
What would John Wayne do...?
What would Jesus do......?
Why the hell are frogs green ....?
WELL....?

Although the normal thing for a tourist in Cairo is simply to take a taxi everywhere....
I'm not that tourist.....
So on my last day in Cairo I opted to find my way to the Pyramids by Subway.....
Well... at least over to Giza .....
Then see what happens......
I knew there was no subways that far......
But I never thought I would not be able to explain I was going to the Pyramids to Taxi drivers from Giza.....
That's where they keep them you know....
The Pyramids.....
In Giza.....
That is......
I was relieved to find myself somewhere....
SHUBRA.......
A great name for somewhere.....
Now ... I just need to know if it is a place.....
Or a direction like North and South.....
I could ask anyone I wanted......
But down in the subways,.,....
I'm the only one with any English.....
Still.......a great name for something....
SHUBRA.......
SHUBRA......
Ya.....
way cool
Somewhere under Cairo....
BIG GIZA FUN
Even though I did make it to Giza.....
I could not come up with any more subways to get to the Pyramids.....
Turns out to be another 20-30 miles.....
Not my first trip to Giza or the Pyramids......
But, Cairo is a Big City......
When I was on Manhatten Island in N.Y.C....., I got a place to sleep over on Long Island, towards Queens, near Jamaica......because it was the closest place......
Just 20 minutes by train ....probably 40 miles...
So close the prices were still unbelievable.....
Cairo is also BIG BIG.....
Just being in Giza .....only means your in Giza.....
I simply had to finish the trip there with a taxi.....
This happens a lot in Cairo and most of Egypt.....
The rest of how I got to the Pyramids for the Light Show just in time....
Despite the taxi's from hell......
And back to my hostel and the airport in time for my flight.....
Is another story.......

Fears keep us from doing things we should not.... and also from things we want and should do....
Here are a few of my lesser seen photos of places and things I've been able to do and see.....
Just a small sample of a large list of things.....
Things that would have been as far away as the other side of the world,...
If I had let fears have control of me.....
Getting on a big Jet plane or a Chicago Subway at night....
Maybe walking into New York City or Paris all alone....
Such things only seem scary to you until......
Until....
You find out how uplifting it really is....
Caution is fine.....
But fears try to control....
