Yes......I know......very tough questions indeed......

These things I will have to think about.....

Try this photo for instance......

I sat here in this little park for hours one very early morning.....

I was waiting for the Postojnska Jama office to open....

Yes.....I know.....what and where the hell is that...?

Well .....This beautiful little park has been the host to many Kings and Presidents of Europe for a long, long, time.....

I learn these things.....

Postojnska Jama is basically the worlds best tourist friendly giant fun filled underground cave system.....

I learn these things......

All this one day in a tiny country in Europe called Slovenia....

It is beautiful and has the funnest language features any where on earth....(my opinion)...

I learn these things.....

Yes.....I know.....

You've never heard of no place called Slovenia......

And Postojnska Jama sounds like Dr. Suess......

FINE.......let's get back to the questions then.......

If I didn't have my photos of my travels to go through every, (or every other) day.....?

If I also didn't have a new adventure in the works at the same time.....?

Would I still be here, at this computer, at this house, paying the bills best I can, being a law abiding and conscientious citizen....?

Tough questions......I don't know where you get this stuff....

Perhaps I should ask......How Much......?

Does travelling by train through a dozen countries.....

Seeing all and every thing you can......

Fill the need .....or just fuel it.......?

What do those magical "anywhere you want in the world" jet planes mean to you...?

Willing to risk your life on one.......?

Sleep under a bridge .....?

Be a complete foriegn object in someone elses homeland...?

O.K......O.K.......I seem to be avoiding the question........

Yes.......I know ...... very tough questions indeed......

These things I will have to think about........

These things I learn.....

think those are tough ones.. how about being the little sister of the one traveling the globe.. and living vicariously thru the simple images on the computer screen...

yes i know.. i can go to google and look up pictures of anywhere in the world.. BUT ... its NOT THE SAME.... traveling along with YOUR pictures.. it may seem silly.. but i feel attached to many of these places i have never been...

and thru all the THOUSANDS of photos.. i have never had that "omg its another slide show of his vacation" feeling.. rather the opposite.. Im like "oo i wonder what is around that corner".. "wow it must have been amazing to stand in front of this place and realize just how far away from the familiar you are"...

this photo in particular.. when u first posted it.. I was like "what a great little spot to just sit and ponder"

so... although i dont seem to have any ANSWERS to ur questions (not even sure what the questions were)...

i DID want you to know that yoru travels dont just enrich YOUR life.. they enrich mine also

keep it up...

After leaving the airport in Cairo...

It is normal to find yourself gasping for air, and white knuckled....

Don't worry that you no longer are concerned about all the people that your driver has already almost killed.....

Or the fact you feel that you will likely die in this death taxi no longer is at the front of your mind....

Everyone at this point....

2 minutes from the airport.....

Wants to know WHAT-THE-HELL all the guys with machine guns is all about.....

Welcome to Cairo.....
