A tough and dangerous place to work 12-18 hrs. a day.....

I'm so glad you asked......

Besides the fact that restoring this type of machinery to it's original state is what I have always done for a living.......

There are other reasons....

An Engine Lathe like this is the mother of other machinery...

With this machine you can build the other machines you would need along with this nice metal lathe to build....let's say ....A TANK....

Maybe just a machine gun.....

After WWIII the country or people who are first to recover win....

Be the first in your area to get the upper hand with a machine gun or maybe a tank, maybe the ability to refine gas, make electricity.....etc. etc......

Keep the rest of those rats in line and working your machines for you....

Our goverment and most others in the world have a large stash of this type of equiptment in underground vaults.....

Also.....I've seen a lot of machinery and this is...... a beautiful machine......

That's basically Queensway in Kensington Gardens......
Across the street is the famous Hyde Park......

It's a really big park......

Like all of Londons central parks......

Hyde park is as old as the city......

It has it's own beautiful and old fountians and statues.....

These huge central London parks were basically the royal hunting grounds way back in the day...

Hyde Park is Bigger than the country of Monaco....!!!!!

Hyde Park is not the largest park in Central London.....

There are 8 huge parks in central London......

How can that be you say......where are the skyscapers...???

Now we can talk.......

If you've been atop The Empire State Building on a sunny day......

Then you know what a big city looks like......

Imagine a city so big you could lose 8 Central Parks in its center.......

And still have the Lions Share of Skyscapers, Palaces & Cathedrals.....

I think it was a great idea......

A huge circuliar river....highs & lows and ups & downs....

Most of it moving water and then a pool like length.....

Because of Princess Diana's love of kids .......

This was to be a hands-on , play-in fountian for the kids....

Unfortunetly a granite based slippy slide had some drawbacks...

After a few accidents.....they had to make it a hands-off fountian.....

I for REALLY hope they can get this adjusted and back for the kids...

I did not erase photos of Brussels from my 2nd camera card to make room for Stonehendge and Bath.....

As I first thought.....

I did erase some museum pictures from London to make room for Bath & Stonehendge on my 2nd camera card....

This edit I remember well......

I did erase some travel photos of Europe on my 1st camera card to make room for some photos of Brussels at the Golden Jubilee Park....

So .....there you have it.....

Half way through my travels in Brussells......

I ran out of room for photos on my camera card......

I edited what I could from my 1st card.....

I got that many more photos of Beautiful Brussels.....

BECAUSE.......I only had the 1st card with me......

BECAUSE...... My travel bag was in a locker at the station....

WITH......My 2nd card secured inside it......

SO......I missed a lot of photo opts in Brussels....

Well.....That's close enough to clear......

You'll just have to trust me......
